Project Nature (T26) Provide implementation (including network upgrade/revamp) and on-going support to the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) network
Duties
- Serve a contract assignment under Info Tech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HD;
- provide on-going support to HA network including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, management and monitoring various network devices and services (e. g. firewall, load balancer, Wi‑Fi system and network switch/router);
- assist in procurement, monitoring and management of outsourced contractors in network support and implementation;
- provide technical advice to supervisor and management on matters relating to HA network; and
- perform support tasks as designated by the supervisor.

Requirements
- at least five years of proven working experience in the relevant function/specialty (i. e. implementation or on-going support of network);
- at least one year of hands‑on experience in technical support on virtual network for VMware NSX; and
- at least five years of hands‑on experience in technical support on firewall and network switch/router.
- Technical Skills
- At least 6 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP);
- At least 6 years' experience in Ethernet (ETH);
- At least 6 years' experience in Networking (NET);
- At least 5 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
- At least 5 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU);
- At least 5 years' experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU);
- At least 5 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW);
- At least 4 years' experience in Network Design (NDN);
- At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
- At least 4 years' experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS);
- At least 4 years' experience in Checkpoint Firewall Administration (CFA).
- Non-technical Skills
- At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
- At least 4 years' experience in site preparation (SPE);
- At least 4 years' experience in vendor management (VMG).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 7 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
