Project Nature (T26): Provide implementation (including network upgrade/revamp) and on-going support to the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) network.
Duties:
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HD;
- Provide on-going support to HA network including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, management and monitoring various network devices and services (e.g. network switch/router, VPN, WiFi and NAC system);
- Assist in procurement, monitoring and management of outsourced contractors in network support and implementation;
- Provide technical advice to supervisor and management on matters relating to HA network;
- Perform support tasks as designated by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- At least five years of proven working experience in the relevant function/specialty, i.e. implementation or on-going support of physical network, Local Area Network or Wide Area Network infrastructure;
- Hands-on experience in technical support on network devices and services (e.g. network switch/router, VPN, WiFi and NAC system).
Technical Skills:
- At least 6 years’ experience in Metro-Ethernet Network (MNE);
- At least 6 years’ experience in Network Design (NDN).
Non-technical Skills:
- At least 4 years’ experience in work with the Government (GOV);
- At least 4 years’ experience in site preparation (SPE);
- At least 4 years’ experience in vendor management (VMG).
Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
At least 7 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
