In this strategic and time‑bound role, you’ll act as a key connector between Essex Digital Service and the wider organisation, coordinating digital activities that support ECC’s response to Local Government Reorganisation. As Business Relationship Manager, you’ll lead stakeholder engagement, align digital initiatives with strategic priorities, and ensure the smooth delivery of transformation efforts. You’ll bring strong relationship‑building skills, service insight, and digital expertise to help shape ECC’s future operating model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, supporting the development of digital transformation plans aligned to ECC’s strategic goals.
  • Coordinate and lead service‑level engagement across ECC to support digital activities related to Devolution and Local Government Reorganisation.
  • Work closely with service teams, directorates, and partners to build confidence and capability in delivering digital change.
  • Capture and communicate business and resident needs to inform digital strategy, product roadmaps, and investment planning.
  • Collaborate with teams across EDS, People.
