As an ICT Infrastructure Engineer at Westmorland and Furness Council, you will play a crucial role in supporting and developing all aspects of our ICT infrastructure, including networking, firewalls, data centres and cloud environments. This role is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, testing, support, and optimisation of ICT infrastructure systems and services, ensuring overall operational readiness of these systems and services across both on‐premise and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, test, support and optimise ICT infrastructure systems and services.
- Maintain operational readiness and high availability of all infrastructure components.
- Implement best practices in infrastructure support and development.
- Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience in ICT infrastructure, networking, firewalls and cloud environments.
- Track record of enhancing business efficiency and delivering robust, secure, and available ICT infrastructure.
