Role: Principal – PLM Solution Architect (Siemens TC)

Strategic Design & Consulting (SDC) at Infosys is a global leader in digital services and engineering solutions, supporting clients across the United States and globally in executing large-scale technology and product transformations. Within Infosys Engineering Services, SDC delivers complex, enterprise-scale PLM solutions that span business, engineering, and IT.

As a Principal – PLM Solution Architect, you will serve as the technical and architectural authority for large, complex PLM initiatives, with a strong preference for Siemens Teamcenter. You are accountable for defining end-to-end PLM solution architecture, ensuring alignment across business requirements, system design, integrations, data models, and non-functional requirements.

  • Define end-to-end PLM solution architecture for enterprise implementations, with Siemens Teamcenter as the primary platform.
  • Translate business, engineering, and IT requirements into logical and physical solution designs.
  • Own architecture artifacts including system landscapes, integration patterns, data models, and deployment views.

Technical Leadership & Delivery Support

  • Act as the technical authority for PLM solution decisions across design and implementation phases.
  • Support configuration, customization, and extension design while balancing standard platform capabilities.

Integration & Data Architecture

  • Define PLM data models, data migration strategies, and master data alignment.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance, scalability, and lifecycle traceability across systems.
  • Collaborate with business, engineering, and IT stakeholders to validate architectural decisions.

15+ years of experience in PLM solution architecture and implementation, with deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, configuration, customization, and deployment models.
  • Experience integrating PLM with ERP, MES, ALM, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
  • Solid understanding of data models, lifecycle management, and engineering processes.
  • Experience in industries such as Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, or High-Tech.
  • Prior experience in roles such as PLM Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Enterprise Architect.
  • High quality awareness.
