The Social Value expert role encompasses leading initiatives that promote employment, skills development, and digital inclusion as part of an organization’s social value strategy. The Social Value Specialist will design and deliver programs such as apprenticeships, workforce training, and community engagement activities in collaboration with external partners and stakeholders. The position involves coordinating with local authorities, educational institutions, and industry bodies to ensure inclusive and impactful outcomes. Success will be measured through job creation, training completion rates, and positive community impact.
Your role as a Senior Consultant involves contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will lead initiatives focused on employment, apprenticeships, and digital skills development across UK Government settings and public sector bodies. You will coordinate with Infosys UK partners to deliver targeted programmes.
Your Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead employment, apprenticeship, and digital skills development programs with partners.
- Manage ambassador programs and apprenticeship pathways.
- Oversee deployment of digital inclusion initiatives (e.g., device prescription, e-waste employment).
- Engage with local authorities, UK Government settings and public sector bodies, educational institutions, and partners.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to job creation, training hours, and inclusion metrics.
You will be intensely involved in delivering significant KPIs that include but are not limited to:
- Number of people recruited and trained.
- Annual training hours delivered.
- Number of apprentices achieving recognized qualifications.
- Percentage of targeted demographics reached.
- Partner satisfaction and engagement metrics.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Social Sciences, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of workforce development principles and social value frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder programs and deliver measurable outcomes.
Preferred:
- 8+ years of experience in employment programs, skills development, or social impact initiatives.
- Experience working with UK government and public sector bodies, educational institutions, or large-scale community programs.
- Familiarity with apprenticeship standards and digital inclusion strategies.
- Exposure to KPI tracking, impact measurement, and reporting tools.
- Prior experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership management.
