Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Platform Lead to lead a modern Data & Integration Platform comprising

Snowflake, Confluent Kafka, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Fivetran, and CI/CD ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strong delivery and people leadership capabilities to drive platform reliability, operational excellence, governance, automation, observability, and stakeholder management.

The role requires hands-on expertise in at least two platform technologies, with mandatory expertise in either Snowflake or Confluent Kafka.

The individual will lead cross-functional teams, mentor technical leads, drive Agile ways of working, and ensure successful delivery of platform services aligned to business objectives.

Your role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end platform delivery, operations, governance, and service management.
  • Define and execute platform strategy, roadmap, and modernization initiatives.
  • Drive platform scalability, resilience, automation, and operational maturity.
  • Establish engineering best practices, governance controls, and operating procedures.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for critical production incidents and service disruptions.
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of platform initiatives across multiple technology tracks.
  • Drive Agile ways of working using Scrum, Kanban, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, operational metrics, and customer commitments.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and technical blockers. Drive compliance, security, audit readiness, and cost optimization.
  • Implement effective monitoring, observability, and service management processes.
  • Hands on experience
  • Mentor and guide Snowflake, Kafka, Cloud, Dev Ops, and Platform engineers.
  • Provide architectural oversight and technical governance across the platform landscape.
  • Drive platform architecture related discussion with Leads, Platform architect & Client
  • Contribute to solution designs, operational processes, and technical implementation approaches.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing Platform engineering team
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Required
  • 7+ years leading Data Platform, Cloud, Integration, or Platform Engineering teams.
  • Experience working in global Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong stakeholder and client engagement experience.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake Administration and/or Confluent Kafka Platform.
  • Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platforms.
  • Good understanding of SCM tool like Github and CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Data Mesh, Data Governance, Security, and Compliance.
  • Experience in monitoring, observability, and platform operationss.
  • Experience in Agile environments and CI/CD practices.
  • Familiarity with SNOW workflows.
  • Exposure to Data. world and Manta.
