The AIS Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and implementing enterprise integration solutions using Azure Integration Services. The role ensures scalable, secure, resilient, and reusable integrations across cloud, on-premises, SaaS, and partner ecosystems while aligning with business and enterprise architecture objectives.
Required:
- Design and deliver integration architectures that connect multiple lines of business (LOB) systems, including both on premises and cloud-based applications.
- Set up and configure Azure Integration Services (AIS) environments, On Premises Data Gateways, ExpressRoute connections, and resource group structures.
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and governance models for iPaaS-based integration solutions.
- Define solution designs with a strong focus on runtime efficiency, cost optimization, and a deep understanding of Azure Integration Services pricing models.
- Work with a broad range of Azure cloud services across Compute, Storage, Networking, and Developer Tools.
- Apply architectural design patterns and expertise in performance tuning, database concepts, and functional design within Azure environments.
- Possess hands on experience with Azure integration components, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Data Factory, and Databricks.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes, including ARM / Bicep template development, build and release pipelines, and Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning.
- Configure and monitor solutions using Azure Application Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Alerts, and Azure Dashboards.
- Work effectively with transformation technologies such as Liquid templates and XSLT for data manipulation.
- Design, document, and build integration solutions using a variety of approaches including APIs, batch processes, and flat-file exchanges.
- Integrate core business applications across multiple business domains, spanning on premises systems and SaaS platforms.
- Lead data mapping and transformation efforts to translate source data into canonical formats for consumption by integration layers.
Preferred:
- Experience in enterprise integration and in Azure Integration Services.
- Experience with BizTalk-to-AIS, MuleSoft-to-AIS, or hybrid integration programs.
- Strong client-facing consulting and architecture governance experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale cloud integration and modernization programs.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem solving abilities, along with a collaborative working style.
