A critical component of this role is managing and influencing stakeholders at the highest levels within the client organization (C-suite), ensuring alignment and navigating complex organizational dynamics. As a strategic partner, this role champions comprehensive planning, best-in-class execution, and robust governance to deliver significant business outcomes for the client. The director must own the overall program success, from presales and strategic planning to flawless execution and benefits realization.
Scope of Responsibilities

- Establish trusted advisor status: Serve as the primary, C-suite-facing point of contact for the client, building and nurturing a strategic, long-term relationship based on transparency and value delivery.
- Align and influence: Lead executive steering committee meetings, workshops, and business reviews, influencing decisions and ensuring sustained alignment with the client's evolving business priorities and digital strategy.
- Proactive issue and risk communication: Manage and communicate program risks, issues, and progress to executive stakeholders with a "no surprises" approach, presenting clear options and recommendations for resolution.
- Translate technical to strategic: Act as the bridge between the service provider's delivery teams and the client's executive leadership, articulating complex IT programs and their impact in terms of business value, ROI, and strategic objectives.
- Own end-to-end program lifecycle: Take full ownership of the entire program, from defining the strategic roadmap and vision during the presales and discovery phase through final delivery and benefits measurement.
- Orchestrate complex delivery: Lead the coordination of multiple, interconnected projects, workstreams, and delivery teams, including those specializing in areas such as cloud migration, enterprise applications, and AI/GenAI.
- Manage contractual obligations: Ensure all deliverables, milestones, and scope are met according to the Statement of Work (SOW) and that any deviations are managed through a formal change control process.
- Develop, implement, and refine business strategies to expand consulting and services revenue, positioning the organization for long-term growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
- Drive transformation, not just delivery: Focus on the "how" and "why" of the technology, ensuring that the IT program truly transforms the client's business processes, technology landscape, and operational capabilities.
- Manage program P&L: Oversee the large-scale program budget, revenue, and profitability, making data-driven decisions to ensure financial targets are met.
- Negotiate and manage scope: Expertly manage scope, budget, and contract negotiations, effectively balancing client expectations with the service provider's commercial interests.
- Identify growth opportunities: Actively identify and pursue new business and expansion opportunities within the client account, contributing directly to the service provider's revenue growth.
