Senior Consultant - Workday HCM, UK in London

Compensation – Competitive (including bonus)

Workday Senior Consultant is expected to be proficient in implementing IT/business solutions in Workday HCM, building integrations, reports, and customization of business processes utilizing native Workday tools.

Your role:

• Experience in Workday Production support, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws.
• Recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives.
• Experience in HCM Modules (Core HR, Compensation, Recruitment, Benefits, Payroll, etc.).
• Strong hands-on experience in Workday technologies - Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Advanced Report Writer, Cloud Connect (PICOF, PECI, CCW, CCB), Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, Custom fields, XML/XSLT, Studio, BIRT Reporting & data analytics.
• Anchor the engagement effort for assignments, from business process consulting and problem definition to solution design, development, and deployment.
• Pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables.
• Key advisor to architecture and design reviews.
• Anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building.
• Shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Relevant experience in implementation, roll out, upgrade, and support projects related to Workday HCM applications.
• Proficient in running reports to detect changes in the system.
• Proficient in performance tuning of reports and integration codes.
• Able to translate business requirements to technical solutions.
• Experience in troubleshooting data issues/corrections, Workday reporting and analytics, and security configurations and changes.
• Develop and document technical specifications, develop test conditions, conduct acceptance testing, and implement solutions.
• Help troubleshoot issues and processes and drive toward resolutions.
• Knowledgeable in Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies.
• Identifying and addressing client needs, building solid relationships with clients.
• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC and support lifecycle, including experience in testing processes across project phases.
• Proficient in all delivered HCM processes and reports, suggesting best practices.

Required:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Workday Consultant.

Preferred:

• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies (for Lead/Consultant roles).
• Knowledge of Workday Security is a plus.
