Role responsibilities:
- Design compensation structures/models, allowances, salary ranges, long & short term incentive programs, policy formulation across multiple European countries for employees hired locally and expats deputed/seconded to these countries.
- Budgeting, financial impact analysis and scenario planning to evaluate optimal solutions and implementation plans; focus on digitization for improved program implementation.
- Provide C&B support for any union/CBA/Worker Council negotiations in the region.
- Refine market intelligence data to periodically benchmark compensation programs/processes in scope and recommend enhancements to improve their competitiveness.
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation.
- Design and deployment of various compensation programs to drive organizational performance through world-class practices of governance and employee experience.
- Large change/program management including those that affect the larger organization and drive business value.
- Lead key/strategic initiatives within the Practice.
- Drive the C&B agenda for any mergers and acquisitions or other transition deals in the region.
- Independently resolve escalated compensation issues and recommend optimal solutions for issues with high complexity.
- Develop and report metrics related to effectiveness of managed compensation programs/processes.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and user groups to solicit actionable feedback on programs and recommend design improvements.
- Develop targeted education programs and communication material on compensation offerings.
- Benefits management for the region including benefits benchmarking, benefit implementation and execution, benefits administration management, vendor management and compliance adherence.
- The role will also include managing a team of junior resources supporting the Europe region.
Qualifications:
- 9-12 years’ experience in core compensation and benefit areas of organization(s) with multi-country operations and/or consulting experience in total rewards.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to work with complex data with an emphasis on accuracy. High proficiency in operating with spreadsheets and databases.
- Have an eye for detail yet understand the larger context to recommend solutions factoring multiple variables.
- Ability to engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders to realize shared objectives. Can take responsibility and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
