We are looking for an Oracle EBS HCM Payroll Functional Consultant to support Payroll & Absence modules for UK public sector clients, focusing on UK payroll processes and Oracle Global Payroll/Absence EBS.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the implementation of Oracle EBS HCM, specifically focusing on UK Payroll & Absence modules for UK clients.
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in all aspects of UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes.
- Apply hands-on experience in Oracle Global Payroll/Absence EBS, particularly within the UK Public sector.
- Lead and assist in troubleshooting and resolving functional problems; maintain ownership of the support process and ensure tickets are resolved within SLA.
- Manage transitions from incumbent vendors and discuss integrations, data migrations, and reporting across relevant modules.
- Utilize HCM technical tools (HDL, HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Payroll Batch Loader).
- Translate complex technology solutions into clear insights for technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management; document Business Process Specifications, Configuration Workbooks, Testing, and Change Requests.
- Lead customer discussions on integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Payroll, Absence, and other modules.
- Guide projects through the SDLC, including CRPs/Playback sessions and training content preparation.
Required
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in implementing Oracle EBS HCM for Absence and Payroll modules for the UK.
- Proficiency in UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Global Payroll/Absence EBS for UK Public sector clients.
- Knowledge of HCM technical tools including HDL, HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Payroll Batch Loader.
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams (technical, business, management).
- Ability to lead discussions with customer teams for integrations, tickets, and reports related to Payroll and Absence and other modules.
- Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
- Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations, and maintaining RAID log.

- Excellent planner for release planning and delivery planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members (5+ team members).
- Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies.
