Job Description
We're looking for an
Oracle Fusion HCM Learning and Career Development Functional Consultant to implement and support Performance Domain modules for UK public sector clients.
You'll need to have expert knowledge on Performance Domain modules process, guiding projects through the SDLC and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences.
Your role
As an Oracle Fusion Learning & Career Development functional consultant with experience in configuring learning catalogues, offerings, learning assignments, communities, initiatives and compliance-driven learning processes.
You'll also need to lead client engagements, discussing integrations, data migrations, and reporting across relevant modules.
A key part of your role is translating complex technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior management.
You'll guide projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring smooth delivery and top system performance.
Responsibilities
- Configure Oracle Fusion Learning including catalogues, courses, specializations, offerings, activities, learning items and learner access rules.
- Support learning initiatives, mandatory training assignments, renewal/expiry rules, observation checklists and compliance training tracking.
- Gather and document business requirements for learning administration, learner experience, manager visibility and reporting needs.
Including gathering requirements related to Career Development, Development Plans, Career Paths, Skills, Competencies, and Talent Profiles.
- Coordinate with HR, compliance, security and reporting teams to support role-based learning access and operational dashboards.
- Design and execute test scenarios for course creation, enrollment, assignment, completion, withdrawal, approvals and reminders.
- Support integration and reporting requirements involving learning content, completion data and learner records.
- Prepare administrator/user guidance, operational support documents and release regression packs.
- Resolve production issues related to catalogue visibility, enrollments, completion statuses, alerts and learning Prepare user guidance, administrator handover documents and support model artefacts for HR operations teams.
- Support release regression, change requests, production incidents and continuous improvement for performance processes.
- Engage business stakeholders to clarify requirements, explain solution options and manage risks around absence/payroll dependencies.
Required
- Hands-on Oracle Fusion Learning and Talent Management configuration experience.
- Understanding of learning catalogues, courses, offerings, activities, initiatives, communities and assignments.
- Experience in compliance/mandatory learning / Talent Management, learner lifecycle testing and issue resolution.
- Ability to work with security, notifications, reporting and integration teams for end-to-end learning processes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, documentation and support readiness experience.
- Preferred
- Experience with Oracle Goal Management, Talent Review or Succession Management touchpoints.
- Exposure to UK/global performance cycle harmonisation across multiple business units.
- OTBI/BIP reporting exposure for performance dashboards and operational tracking.
- Should have excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- Should be an excellent planner when it comes to perform release planning and other delivery planning.
- Should have excellent problem-solving skills
- Responsible for Coaching and mentoring team members with experience of managing 5+ team members
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
