Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire QA Lead to oversee quality assurance activities for Guidewire Claim Center Transformation projects and Application Maintenance & Support projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Guidewire applications (Claim Center, Policy Center), test management, automation, integration testing, and leadership capabilities.
The QA Lead will be responsible for defining test strategies, managing QA teams, ensuring high‑quality software delivery, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

- Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for QA testing delivery across onsite and offshore teams
- Define QA strategy and ensure cross‑system test coverage
- Align test data strategy and coverage across teams
- Oversee test execution between Guidewire x Centers (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center)
- Align automated tests across the platform (Playwright/GTF) – regarding issues, effectiveness, possible work‑around
- Own smoke tests in the Guidewire Testing Framework (valuestream/x Center to create and maintain)
- Support defect triage during SIT/UAT if issues span across systems
- Validate smoke tests and release readiness criteria before production go‑live (go/no‑go decision)
- Validate compliance regarding designated functions coverage after updates
- Serve as point of contact for test requirements for new features
- Manage all testing and regression testing (potentially seeded to teams)
- Review sprint goals for testing delivery and review test scenarios & test cases covering all GW functionalities and business requirements
- Review regression test cases and walk them through to business/SMEs for sign‑off
- Conduct defect triage meetings and RCA for defects
- Prepare defect completion reports at the end of each sprint release
- Perform test execution, generate defect reports and status metrics
- Publish testing metrics (test execution progress, defect metrics, RAG health of testing) to project stakeholders on a periodic basis (weekly & monthly)
- Work with UAT business teams for defect triage and UAT defect retesting processes
- Work with PM and plan creation of required testing environments (functional, integration, performance, automation, pre‑prod) and ensure completion of different test cycles such as functional, integration, E2E, stabilization and dry run for deployment testing
- Identify avenues to improve QA testing processes
