Your role
In the role of Technology Lead, your responsibilities include
- In the role of Lead Consultant, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical and people leadership capabilities across different stages of the Product Development Life Cycle OR During the Production stages OR After Market services.
- You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers, driving technical delivery excellence, enabling collaboration across functions, and ensuring that outputs meet customer expectations for quality, safety, cost, schedule and manufacturability.
- You will also deliver high quality deliverables, peer reviews to ensure that team meets customer requirements
- You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
- Required
- Should have at least 6+ years of working experience on Turbomachinery components like Gas Turbine for Power and/or Aviation industry.
- Strong understanding of aero engine modules such as Compressors, Turbines, Combustion, Structures, Casings, Rotatives, and Airfoils.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of the projects & are on target.
- Capture requirements/scope from customer.
- Sound knowledge of Aero Engine Component Design and Non-Conformance Assessment Process and sentencing of production / Overhaul / Service Components (Technical Variance)
- Experience in design, development, and Non-Conformance/ DAR's/ PDG/TAD and QN assessment aero engine components
- Experience in design, development and installations for engine external components such as ducts, harness, pipes, hoses and brackets
- Creation of Design definition which includes geometry creation, design solution drawings, component models and drawing definitions, interface control documents etc.
- Design modification of gas turbine engine components to get cost reduction, to resolve service issues and manufacturing issues. etc.
Reviewing concessions and recommending for drawing change through Definition Alteration Request (DAR) process.
- Fit, Form and Functionality analysis of various components with defects through concession, DAR, PDG, TAD’s . Carrying out tolerance stack analysis by 2D or 3D layout in UG.
- Cross functional collaboration various specialists like Stress engineer, Air system, Materials engineer.
Participate in technical reviews and concession review boards.
Liaise with customer technical authorities and delegated approvers for resolution of non-conformances
