Job Description

  • Manage E2E (End to End) work flow, concession preparation, writing, validation and co-ordination with stakeholders.
  • Managing Non Conformities (MNCs) and Concessions, including design assessments and validations.
  • Providing Design Liaison and Design for Manufacture support, including preliminary QSR, DQN, and WQN investigations and green quality gate achievement.
  • Review concession data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Analyze deviations from engineering drawings, specifications, standards, or process requirements.
  • Co-ordinate with Quality team for any clarifications required related to Non conformances.
  • Liaise with multiple functions to ensure the most appropriate repair solution is met with consideration to cost, time, performance, and installation requirements.
  • Coordination with Supply chain on the availability of rare repair fasteners before finalizing the disposition.
  • Provide disposition decisions (use as is, repair, rework, scrap, return to supplier).
  • Identify repeating issues and escalate for corrective action.
  • Propose design improvement to Engineering on repetitive defects and manufacturing teams to strengthen process controls.
  • If required, Design Special parts to resolve nonconformity.
  • Review concession and recommend for design change request if nonconformity is caused by design issue.
  • Manage engineering data, documentation, and deliverables in compliance with quality and configuration requirements.
  • Support digital continuity initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement in design and communication processes.
  • Serve as a technical representative for onsite offshore coordination, addressing queries, Return to Task (RTT) clarifications, and technical escalations.

Skillset

  • General knowledge, understanding and use of all relevant specific documentations and specifications as: Acceptance criteria (installation instruction), Tool guideline (VPM, ASR, SAP…), Suffix and ASR use and Specific guideline (flushness…)
  • Knowledge of Non conformity declaration for structural parts and assemblies.
  • Understanding of aerospace design principles and airworthiness requirements.
  • Knowledge of metallic and composite design principles.
  • Knowledge of aerospace processes and procedures relating to design (RSDP, SIDP, AP, ABD, AIPI, AIPS, etc..).
  • Experience of using DocMaster, Airnavx etc.
  • Valid aerospace training certificates in SAP, VPM and PASS SSI.

  • CATIAv5, SAP (PAC / PEA), PASS, Zamiz, PRIMES, GEMAVICC, GILDA, COLINA, TREND, VPM, AIRNav

Required Qualifications (Non-negotiable Requirements)

  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience in Material Review Board Design.
  • Previous aerospace concession experience.
