Within Infosys Engineering Services, Strategic Design & Consulting (SDC) delivers complex, enterprise-scale PLM programs that span business, engineering, and IT.
Role Overview
As a Principal – PLM & MFG Program Manager, you will serve as the single-threaded owner for one or more large, complex PLM programs in the UK market. Success in this position is defined by your ability to run programs, align stakeholders, manage complexity, and deliver measurable business outcomes across scope, schedule, cost, and adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full end-to-end delivery of enterprise PLM & MFG transformation programs, from mobilization through stabilization and benefits realization.
- Establish and run program governance (roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, RAID, escalation paths, and executive reporting).
- Drive execution across multiple parallel workstreams, including PLM & MFG core configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, deployment, and organizational change.
- Serve as the final escalation point for delivery risks, issues, and cross-functional conflicts.
- Ensure consistent execution across US-based and globally distributed delivery teams.
- Own program financials including budget, forecast accuracy, change control, and cost governance.
- Manage scope, schedule, quality, and risk to meet committed delivery outcomes.
- Drive delivery predictability through disciplined planning, cadence, and performance tracking.
- Act as the primary accountable leader for senior Business, Engineering, and IT stakeholders.
- Lead executive forums including SteerCos, QBRs, and MBRs.

- Manage PLM & MFG platform vendors and system integrators to ensure contractual and delivery commitments are met.
- Support sales and account teams by shaping execution-focused program plans and delivery models.
- Define and track program-level KPIs tied to adoption, cycle time, productivity, quality, and cost.
- Ensure delivered PLM & MFG capabilities translate into realized business value, not just technical go-live.
- Identify opportunities to de-risk, accelerate, or optimize execution throughout the program lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor program managers, project managers, solution leads, and workstream owners.
- Build a high-accountability delivery culture focused on transparency, ownership, and outcomes.
- Drive reuse of delivery standards, templates, and best practices across PLM & MFG programs.
Required Qualifications

- Solid working knowledge of major PLM & MFG platforms – with focus on Siemens suite of solutions.
- Experience delivering PLM & MFG programs in industries such as Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, or High-Tech.
- Proven ability to lead senior stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and drive decisions in complex environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Program management certifications such as PgMP, PMP, or SAFe (LPM/RTE) strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in roles such as Enterprise Program Manager, Program Director, or Transformation Lead.
- Experience supporting US-based clients in large, regulated, or multi-site environments.
