We are looking for an Oracle Fusion HCM Techno-Functional Consultant to implement and support Absence and Payroll modules for UK public sector clients. You need expert knowledge of UK payroll processes and proven experience with Oracle Global Payroll/Absence Cloud, guiding projects through the SDLC and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences.
Your Role
As an Oracle Fusion HCM Consultant, you will provide impactful solutions to our clients. Your focus will be on the implementation and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion HCM modules, specifically Absence Management and Payroll for the UK public sector. You will need a deep understanding of all UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes, backed by practical experience with Oracle Global Payroll/Absence Cloud in the UK public sector. You will also lead client engagements, discussing integrations, data migrations, and reporting across relevant modules, translating complex technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences and guiding projects through the SDLC for smooth delivery and top system performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM, specifically focusing on Absence and Payroll modules for UK clients.
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in all aspects of UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes.
- Apply hands-on experience in Oracle Global Payroll/Absence Cloud, particularly within the UK public sector.
- Conduct System Integration Testing, support User Acceptance testing, Payroll Parallel Reconciliation (PPR) and provide hyper-care support.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, and Payroll Batch Loader.
- Effectively discuss complex technology solutions with diverse audiences: technical, business, and management teams; walk through Business Process Specification documents, Configuration Workbooks, Testing and Change Requests.
- Lead customer discussions concerning integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Payroll, Absence, and other relevant modules.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge and experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Conference Room pilots (CRPs)/Playback sessions, training content preparation and imparting training.
Required
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience implementing Oracle Fusion HCM for Absence and Payroll modules in the UK.
- Proficiency in all UK Payroll, Pension and Absence processes.
- Hands-on experience working on Oracle Global Payroll/Absence Cloud for UK public sector clients.
- Knowledgeable on HCM technical tools including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, and Payroll Batch Loader.
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams: technical, business and management.
- Ability to lead discussions with customers for integrations, data migrations and reporting relating to Payroll, Absence and other modules.
- Experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
- Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations, and maintaining RAID log.
