We're looking for an Oracle HCM Cloud Talent and Learn Consultant with stakeholder management exposure in the implementation of Oracle's Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solutions for UK public sector clients. The position’s primary responsibility will be to interface with key stakeholders and be responsible for successfully implementing Oracle HCM Cloud modules in Agile mode.
This position will be responsible for leading the discussions for the design, development and support of all the associated components such as data migration, integrations, and reports for the above-mentioned modules including status reporting and managing the stakeholder. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and solution architecture, guiding projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects.
Your Role
As an Oracle HCM Cloud Talent and Learn Lead, you'll be instrumental in providing impactful functional solutions to our clients. You'll need a deep understanding across various Oracle HCM Cloud modules Learn, Talent management (Goals, Performance, Talent Review, Succession Management) backed by practical experience in the UK public sector. You'll also lead client engagements, discussing integrations, data migrations, and reporting across relevant modules. A key part of your role is translating complex functional and technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from functional and technical teams to senior management. You'll guide projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring smooth delivery and top system performance.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience in working on the above modules for UK Public sector clients.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge and experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Conference Room pilots (CRPs)/Playback sessions, training content preparation and imparting training for technical components.
- Well versed with designing and building security roles – Job roles, data roles including security profiles.
- Comprehensive experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to post-implementation support.
- Proficient in Redwood enablement and its tools for enhancing user experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively identify and mitigate technical, functional, and security risks.
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
Required
- 14+ years of Information Technology experience.
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud – Talent and Learn modules including configuring the system to meet business requirements, such as designing approvals, DFFs, EFFs, Journeys etc.
- Ability to lead the discussions with the customer teams for integrations, data migrations and reports related to mentioned modules.
- Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations and maintaining RAID log.
Preferred
- Knowledgeable on HCM technical tools including HCM Data loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulae.
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams.
- Experience managing a team size of 6+ would be a plus.
