Principal - Enterprise Applications - SAP S/4HANA - UK

Job Responsibilities:

• Generating leads from key clients based on consulting‑based ideas.
• Co‑creating next‑generation business models and processes that give clients a definitive edge or enable cost leadership.
• Synthesizing end‑to‑end processes across planning, sales, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, plant maintenance, and customer service.
• Building solution roadmaps for customers’ transformation journeys based on SAP best practices and solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SaaS Line‑of‑Business solutions, and other products such as SFDC.
• Identifying opportunities for digitization and automation leveraging AI, blockchain, IoT, RPA, and other levers.
• Participating in assessments, due diligences, and transformation workshops.
• Guiding and supporting customers to build a business case for transformation initiatives.
• Driving engagement directly with the business on the customer side and speaking their language.
• Realizing business blueprints, proof‑of‑conception, transformation plans, change impacts, and learning content.
• Moderating large workshops across business domains such as procurement, manufacturing, and finance and guiding clients to build a solution vision and identify requirements, gaps, and roadblocks.
• Delivering S/4HANA minimum viable products, templates, complete products, and pilots in the assigned area.
• Obtaining buy‑ins and acceptance from the business on delivered products.
• Participating in product roadmap discussions with partners such as SAP and Microsoft to deliver joint synergy and value.
• Providing an independent point of view to the customer based on experience and product roadmaps from SAP and other software vendors.

You will lead a team of experts, mentoring staff and providing solution reviews, transparent feedback, and reliable support for estimates or plans. As the face of Infosys to business stakeholders, you will bring best practices, convey process data and metrics, showcase multiple solution options, demonstrate value, and deliver harmonized or optimized solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with the entire SAP product portfolio and SAP consulting.
• Deep functional (e.g., Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales) or technical (e.g., ABAP, UI5, Integration, Security, Basis) skills in one or two SAP ERP modules.
• IT architecture knowledge, including SAP architecture.
• Business acumen across multiple industry segments, value chain, and financial health, with appreciation of future trends.
• C‑level interaction and stakeholder engagement at both executive and middle‑management levels.
• Experience in IT‑enabled transformation and operations.
• Hands‑on SAP consulting experience of at least 14 years, focused on an industry segment or skill set.
• Minimum five end‑to‑end projects in new SAP offerings.
• Architect or lead role experience in projects.
• Experience with at least two project types: greenfield, brownfield, or hybrid.
• Transformation preparation or Phase 0 experience.
• Proficiency with SAP toolchain as a user or administrator.
• Valid SAP certification in relevant skills.
• Excellent client presentability and interpersonal skills, able to interact from C‑level executives to SAP super‑users.
• Solution proposal building and effort estimation skills.
• Multitasking flexibility, team spirit, and a winning attitude.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to multiple modules and skill areas within the SAP product portfolio.
• Experience with SAP Sales and hands‑on service delivery responsibilities.
• Prior business domain experience before IT experience.
• External publications in the public domain on industry or skill areas.
• Additional exposure to other tech stacks beyond SAP (e.g., SFDC, Microsoft).
