We are looking for an Oracle EBS Enterprise Architect to support EBS Core HR / Payroll modules for UK public sector clients. The role requires expert knowledge of UK Core HR / Payroll processes and proven experience guiding and supporting BAU operations, statutory updates, and minor enhancements across the HRMS landscape.
Your role as an Oracle EBS HCM Enterprise Architect will involve providing impactful solutions to clients and supporting existing solutions. Your focus will be on ongoing support of Oracle EBS HCM modules, specifically Core HR/ Payroll for the UK public sector. You must validate existing processes, configurations, data & integration touch points, and execution of payroll. Knowledge of statutory reporting requirements including HMRC is required. The candidate should have a deep understanding of Core HR, UK Payroll, UK Pension, and UK Absence processes backed by practical experience with Oracle EBS Core HR / Payroll in the UK public sector.
You will lead client engagements, discuss integrations, transition from current systems, and report across relevant modules. You will translate complex technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior management, and provide guidance to existing solutions. Understanding the impact of proposed changes as part of improvement/enhancement to upstream/downstream systems is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, support and orchestrate process improvement ideas in Oracle EBS HCM, focusing on Core HR / Payroll for UK clients.
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in all aspects of Core HR, UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes.
- Apply hands‑on experience in Oracle Global Payroll/Absence, particularly within the UK public sector.
- Lead the transition of ongoing systems.
- Ensure integration via the integration layer remains robust during upgrades and third‑party changes.
- Manage user access reviews, single sign‑on reviews, and masking in non‑production environments.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, custom forms, and performance tuning.
- Lead customer discussions regarding integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Core HR, Payroll, and other relevant modules.
- Guide development teams on customization (OAF, PL/SQL), integration (API, SOA Suite), and data migration (HDL, Web ADI).
- Ensure system design complies with data protection regulations (GDPR, SOX) and internal security policies.
- Maintain an overall understanding of integration touch points and reporting requirements.
Required:
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in implementation and support of Oracle EBS HCM for Core HR and Payroll modules for the UK.
- Deep understanding of HR business processes, particularly in the UK public sector.
- Proficiency in Core HR and UK Payroll.
- Experience with Oracle SOA Suite, Integration Cloud (OIC), and API development.
- Knowledge of HCM technical tools including HDL, HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulae, custom forms, performance tuning, Oracle PL/SQL, OAF.
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to technical, business and management teams.
- Knowledge and support of existing solutions.
- Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations and maintaining RAID log.
