We're looking for a Product owner cum Payroll lead responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of Oracle's Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solutions for UK public sector clients especially UK Payroll. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and technical architecture, guiding projects through the SDLC and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences for ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects.
As a Senior Industry Principal Consultant you would be responsible for driving HR transformation, HCM solution delivery, and consulting excellence across large-scale global engagements. The role combines domain expertise, solution architecture, client advisory, and program leadership to deliver business value and transformation outcomes.
You'll need a deep understanding of all business processes across various Oracle HCM Cloud modules Core HR, recruitment, Learning, Talent Management, UK Payroll, Pension and Absence, backed by practical experience in the UK public sector. You'll also lead client engagements, discussing integrations, data migrations, and reporting across relevant modules. A key part of your role is translating complex Functional and technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior management. You'll guide projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring smooth delivery and top system performance.
Responsibilities- Lead client discussions, workshops, and strategy sessions to define HR transformation roadmaps
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and executive engagement models
- Drive end-to-end HCM transformation programs across Hire‑to‑Retire processes
- Design and implement HR Target Operating Models (TOM), process frameworks, and service delivery models
- Lead HCM Cloud implementations & Deliver innovative workforce transformation solutions leveraging digital HR, automation, and analytics
- Provide functional and technical leadership in HCM solution architecture, integrations, and data migration
- Translate business requirements into scalable, industry‑aligned solutions
- Develop industry‑specific accelerators, frameworks, and reusable assets
- Contribute to thought leadership, whitepapers, and innovation initiatives
- Lead large-scale global HCM programs ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, cost, and quality
- Should have minimum 16+ years of experience and should have led at least 3~4 large scale implementation programs in HCM Fusion
- Deep expertise in HCM processes (Core HR, UK Payroll, Talent, Absence, Recruitment, Learning, Compensation Modules)
- Experience managing a team size of 50+ is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are critical. You must be able to translate complex technical concepts into business terms for C‑level executives and non‑technical stakeholders, as well as provide detailed technical guidance to implementation teams.
