Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire QA Lead to oversee quality assurance activities for Guidewire Claim Center Transformation projects and Application Maintenance & Support projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in
Guidewire applications (Claim Center, Policy Center), test management, automation, integration testing, and leadership capabilities.
The QA Lead will be responsible for defining test strategies, managing QA teams, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

- Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for QA testing delivery across Onsite & Offshore Teams
- Defines QA strategy and ensures cross-system test coverage
- Align test data strategy and coverage across teams
- Oversee test execution across Guidewire x Centers (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center)
- Automated tests alignment among the platform (Playwright/GTF) β regarding issues, effectiveness, possible workaround.
- Smoke test ownership in Guidewire Testing Framework (valuestream/x Center to create and maintain)
- Support defect triage during SIT/UAT if issues span across systems
- Validate smoke tests and release readiness criteria before production go-live (go/no-go decision)
- Validation of compliance regarding designated function coverage after Ski resort updates
- Point of contact for test requirements for new features
- Manage all testing and regression testing (Could be seeded to the teams)
- Review the Sprint goals for testing delivery and review test scenarios & test cases covering all GW functionalities and business requirements
- Review the regression test cases and walkthrough regression test cases with business/SMEs for sign-off
- Conduct defect triage meetings and RCA for defects
- Prepare defect completion reports at the end of each sprint release
- Perform test execution, generate defect reports and status metrics
- Publish testing metrics (e. g., progress, defect metrics, RAG health) to project stakeholders on a periodic basis (weekly & monthly)
- Work with UAT business teams for defect triaging and UAT defect retesting process
- Work with PM and plan for the creation of required testing environments (functional, integration, performance, automation, pre-prod) and ensure successful completion of different test cycles (functional, integration, E2E, stabilization, dry run for deployment testing)
- Identify avenues to improve QA testing process
