Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire QA Lead to oversee quality assurance activities for Guidewire Claim Center Transformation projects and Application Maintenance & Support projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Guidewire applications (Claim Center, Policy Center), test management, automation, integration testing, and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage QA strategy and test data coverage across onsite and offshore teams.
- Oversee test execution between Guidewire x Centers (Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center).
- Align automated tests across the platform (Playwright/GTF) and own smoke tests in the Guidewire Testing Framework.
- Support defect triage during SIT/UAT and validate release readiness before production go-live.
- Validate compliance of designated function coverage after updates.
- Act as point of contact for test requirements for new features.
- Manage all testing and regression testing activities.
- Review sprint goals for testing delivery and test scenarios/cases covering all GW functionalities and business requirements.
- Conduct regression walkthroughs with SMEs for sign‑off.
- Lead defect triage meetings and root cause analysis.
- Prepare defect completion reports at the end of each sprint release.
- Generate defect reports, status metrics, and publish testing metrics (execution progress, defect metrics, RAG health).
- Work with UAT business teams for defect triaging and retesting.
- Coordinate with PM to plan required testing environments (functional, integration, performance, automation, pre‑prod).
- Ensure completion of test cycles: functional, integration, E2E, stabilization, and dry run for deployment testing.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement of QA processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in the Property and Casualty insurance domain.
- Experience in Guidewire Claims process and exposure to Policy Center.
- Guidewire Certified Resource with knowledge of claim, policy, and billing lifecycles.
- Experience with defect triaging, estimation, stakeholder management, and application enhancements.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage QA teams and client stakeholders.
- Project management experience: execution, monitoring, and optimization of project plans.
- Experience with implementation and AMS programs.
- Experience with AI & Automation skills (e. g., GT Framework, Integration Gateway, APD) is a plus.
