Job Description
For the Digital Workplace Services Portfolio at Infosys UK is a senior leadership role responsible for end-to-end delivery, strategy, and customer engagement across large-scale digital workplace initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage over two decades of IT experience, deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, proven project and service delivery leadership, and a demonstrated ability to balance local client relationships with global delivery through large Global System Integrators (GSIs) and offshore teams. Additionally, this role requires leading end-to-end solution defence for mid-to-large deals, ensuring competitive, commercially viable, and technically sound solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Management
• Define and execute the long-term strategic roadmap for Digital Workplace technology solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and Infosys’ global standards.
• Lead the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary digital workplace projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Oversee the entire service lifecycle, from solution design and implementation to ongoing service delivery and continuous improvement, adhering to ITIL and agile methodologies.
Technical Solutioning & Delivery
• Act as the technical authority for Microsoft technologies (including Azure, Microsoft 365, Endpoint Management, Teams, and related collaboration platforms), providing expert guidance on architecture, implementation, and best practices.
• Oversee the evaluation, selection, and integration of digital workplace products and services, collaborating with architects, SMEs, vendors, and compliance teams.
• Ensure robust governance, risk management, and compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements across all solutions.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for all digital workplace initiatives and escalations.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Drive customer satisfaction by proactively identifying opportunities for value enhancement, innovation, and continuous service improvement.
Global Delivery & Offshore Team Integration
• Lead and coordinate delivery teams spanning local UK resources and global offshore teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and cultural integration.
• Foster a shared vision and inclusive work culture, leveraging best practices for integrating offshore talent into the broader delivery team.
• Act as a bridge between Infosys, client teams, and partner GSIs, ensuring alignment of goals, expectations, and delivery standards.
Sales Support & Solution Development
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution shaping, proposal development, and client presentations, leveraging deep technical and delivery expertise.
• Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify new business opportunities and drive portfolio growth through innovative digital workplace offerings.
End-to-End Solution Defence
• Develop strategic solutions that align with business goals for mid-to-large deals.
• Defend and position solutions competitively, ensuring compliance with commercial and technical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and refine solution viability.
• Ensure cost-effectiveness, scalability, and risk mitigation across proposed solutions.
Financial, Commercial & Contractual Management
• Oversee budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation for digital workplace initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value realization.
• Establish and monitor service KPIs/SLAs, driving high-quality service delivery and continuous optimization.
• Proven track record in IT commercial and contractual management with deep knowledge of financial models.
• Extensive experience in pricing strategies and cost optimization within IT services.
• Strong expertise in negotiating complex IT contracts and vendor agreements.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in IT procurement
Required Experience & Skills
• Experience in IT, with at least 10 years focused on Digital Workplace solutions and Microsoft technology ecosystems.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation projects in complex, multi-vendor environments.
• Significant experience working with and managing large GSIs, balancing local client engagement with offshore delivery integration.
Technical Skills
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Endpoint Management, Teams, and related workplace technologies.
• Deep understanding of ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), automation, and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
• Strong grasp of security, compliance, and governance in cloud and hybrid workplace environments.
Leadership & Soft Skills
• Exceptional customer engagement, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities, capable of adapting style to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing, cross-cultural teams across geographies.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a high sense of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement orientation.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies, Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum), and ITIL are highly desirable.
