We're looking for an Oracle EBS Core HR / Payroll Technical Architect to support EBS Core HR / Payroll modules for UK public sector clients. You'll need expert knowledge of UK Core HR / Payroll processes and proven experience with Oracle Core HR / Payroll, guiding & supporting projects and translating complex solutions for diverse audiences. As an Oracle EBS HCM Technical Architect, you'll be instrumental in providing impactful solutions to our clients and supporting existing solutions.
Your focus will be on ongoing support of Oracle EBS HCM modules, specifically Core HR/ Payroll for the UK public sector. You'll need a deep understanding of all Core HR, UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes, backed by practical experience with Oracle EBS Core HR / Payroll in the UK public sector. You'll also lead client engagements, discuss integrations, transitions from the current system, and reporting across relevant modules. A key part of your role is translating complex technical solutions into clear insights for diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior management. You'll provide necessary support & guidance to existing solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead and support Oracle EBS HCM, specifically Core HR / Payroll for UK clients.
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in all aspects of Core HR, UK Payroll, Pension, and Absence processes.
- Apply hands-on experience in Oracle Global Payroll/Absence Cloud, particularly within the UK Public sector.
- Lead the transition of ongoing system.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Custom Forms, and Performance Tuning.
- Lead customer discussions pertaining to integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Core HR, Payroll and other relevant modules.
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in implementation & support of Oracle EBS HCM for Core HR and Payroll modules for the UK.
- Proficient in Core HR and UK Payroll.
- Knowledgeable on HCM technical tools including HDL, HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Custom Forms, Performance Tuning, Payroll batch loader.
- Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams (technical, business, and management).
- Knowledge and support of existing solutions.
- Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks and mitigations and maintaining RAID log.
- Excellent planner for release planning and delivery planning.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members (5+ team members).
- Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies & ITIL.
