Your role
APIGEE Consultant with strong Apigee Edge, Apigee Hybrid, and Apigee X expertise to lead API platform setup and migration engagements for enterprise clients. The role is client-facing and requires both architectural leadership and hands-on delivery, acting as a trusted advisor for API modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead Apigee Hybrid/X setup across environments (Dev/Test/Prod).
- Drive migration of APIs from Apigee Edge to Apigee Hybrid/X.
- Lead client workshops, architecture discussions, and design reviews.
- Define API governance, security standards, and best practices.
- Guide client teams through cloud-native API, DevOps, and operational models.
Required Skills
- Rich experience in API Management / Integration Architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apigee Edge and Apigee Hybrid/X.
- Proven experience in Edge Hybrid/X migrations.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenAPI.
- Cloud experience (GCP preferred) and Kubernetes/GKE exposure.
- Excellent client communication and consulting skills.
