Job description
Role: Lead Consultant
Technology: Business analysis in Energy & Trading domain (ETRM)
Location: London
Business Unit: SURENRGY
Compensation: Competitive (including bonus)
Job Responsibilities
- Support Product Owner and Product Manager in project planning and prioritization activities with Product Console.
- Collaborate with geographically diverse business groups and support teams to deliver solutions efficiently, following change management procedures.
- Participate in Agile methodologies, including daily scrums, Kanban board updates, and retrospectives.
- Identify common issues across business groups and help design standardized solutions.
- Proactively identify risks, suggest fixes, and support resolution of critical production issues.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies like backlog refinement, PI Planning, and Iteration planning.
- Work with team members to deliver commitments for each iteration and PI.
- Engage beyond the immediate team when necessary within the broader business process environment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in Energy trading (Power/Gas/LNG/Oil) projects and ETRM systems.
- Minimum 12 years of overall IT experience.
- Experience with Market Data, including Forward Curves, Settlement Prices, and Expiry dates.
- Knowledge of commodity trade lifecycle, EoD processes, Valuation, and PnL reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and testing skills.
- Experience with enterprise-wide IT environments involving multiple technologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis with Oracle/PostgreSQL and strong RDMS query skills.
- Proven track record in all project lifecycle phases: requirements, testing, deployment, and support.
- Experience with Change and Release Management.
- Self-motivated and focused on delivery.
- Ability to adapt to changing business and technical environments.
