We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Business Analyst to support a strategic consulting engagement focused within the B2B sales and marketing sector. The role involves conducting deep market analysis, supporting customer segmentation frameworks, partner ecosystem mapping, process mapping, partner enablement frameworks, and marketing effectiveness assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders (including project managers, lead consultants, and delivery teams) to understand and document business requirements for sales and marketing projects.
- Support analysis of business processes within the sales and marketing context (e.g., MQL, SQL) and identify opportunities where technology can be applied to improve efficiency, customer experience, or generate new revenue streams.
- Provide project management support – timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Conduct desk-based research to understand the overall retail and technology market context, value chain, trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Conduct research interviews and quantitative analysis and synthesise findings into a deliverable.
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings related to project performance and business impact.
- Assess broader organisational goals within the technology/telecom/retail industry and align initiatives with strategic objectives.
- Develop business cases to support client initiatives and investments, demonstrating the potential ROI and business value.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation opportunities.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to elicit information related to use cases, data requirements, and model deployment strategies.
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Create detailed documentation, including interview notes and other information.
- Act as a liaison between client and Infosys team.
- 3-5 years' experience in business analysis, strategy consulting, or market research, ideally within B2B sales and marketing.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Experience working in or with top-tier consulting firms is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
