A major UK organisation within a highly regulated environment is expanding its Cyber Defence capability and requires an additional Senior SOC Analyst (Level 3) for an initial 6‐month contract. The SOC team is experiencing increased workload and needs additional support to maintain high‐quality security monitoring and incident response.

Contract Details

  • Location: 2 days per week on-site in Whiteley, 3 days remote
  • Day Rate: up to £600
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • IR35 Status: Inside IR35
  • Clearance: SC clearance required (candidates may start while clearance is being processed, subject to approval)

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years' experience working in a SOC environment
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Sentinel
  • Strong hands-on experience with KQL
  • Proven experience analysing malicious emails
  • Demonstrable ability in incident response

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working within CNI and/or highly regulated industries
  • Ability to travel to site as required (within reasonable distance of Whitley / willingness to attend)
  • Experience with analytic tuning, including custom analytics
  • Background in network and host forensics
