Our client, an innovative and rapidly growing business within the Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) sector, is seeking an experienced Lead Python Developer to play a key role in shaping the future of their technology and data platforms.

You'll lead the design and delivery of business-critical solutions while working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading the design and development of scalable data platforms and applications
  • Building and optimising Python-based solutions and automation tools
  • Developing and maintaining Postgre SQL databases and data models
  • Delivering Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Data Flow solutions
  • Creating insightful Power BI dashboards and reporting capabilities
  • Driving technical best practice across development teams
  • Mentoring developers and providing technical leadership
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver innovative technology solutions
  • Supporting the adoption of AI technologies including Microsoft Copilot and other productivity tools
  • Integrating financial and market data into internal systems and reporting platforms

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead or Principal Developer role
  • Expert-level Postgre SQL knowledge
  • Strong Power BI capabilities
  • Experience building data pipelines and reporting solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and Business Analysis skills
  • Financial Services, Asset Management, ETF, Fin Tech or Capital Markets experience
