Hybrid in Ipswich | Utilities & Critical National Infrastructure
We’re partnering with a major UK utilities organisation responsible for protecting critical national infrastructure, and they’re expanding their Operational Technology cyber security team. This role sits at the heart of SCADA, control systems and industrial networks, helping secure systems that millions of people rely on every day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Protecting OT and SCADA environments from cyber threats
- Supporting incident response, root cause analysis and resilience testing
- Designing, implementing and maintaining OT security infrastructure
- Working with Fortinet, SIEM, IDS, VPN and network security tooling
- Supporting NIS and NCSC compliance across OT systems
- Partnering with internal teams, vendors and managed service providers
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in OT / ICS cyber security or industrial networking
- Strong network and firewall security background
- Exposure to SCADA or control systems
- Understanding of NIS, NCSC CAF, IEC 62443
- Comfortable working in regulated, safety‑critical environments
