Data Migration Consultant

We’re supporting a global engineering and professional services organisation operating across the marine, energy and industrial sectors as they deliver a major SAP SuccessFactors transformation.

Job Title: SuccessFactors Data Migration Lead
Contract: 3 months
Location: Fully remote (UK-based)
Start: ASAP

They are looking for an experienced SuccessFactors Data Migration Lead to join the People Data & Technology function on a 3‑month, inside IR35 contract, working fully remotely from within the UK.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the full data migration workstream into SAP SuccessFactors (with a focus on Employee Central and Position Management).
• Define and deliver the data migration strategy, plans and approach, aligned to programme timelines.
• Own data extraction, cleansing, transformation and loading from legacy HR systems into SuccessFactors.
• Build and maintain detailed data mapping specifications and business rules.
• Work closely with integration teams (e.g. Dell Boomi or similar tools) to ensure robust, end‑to‑end data flows.
• Support SIT and UAT with high‑quality data, reconciliation and sign‑off activities.
• Manage data‑related risks and issues, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data privacy requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders across HR, People Analytics and Technology, providing clear, regular updates on progress.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Data Migration Lead / Data Lead on SAP SuccessFactors implementations.
• Strong hands‑on background with SuccessFactors Employee Central (Position Management a plus).
• Deep understanding of HR data structures and data quality (cleansing, validation, reconciliation).
• Experience delivering data migration within large transformation programmes, ideally using SAP Activate or similar methodologies.
• Comfortable working with integration / ETL tools (Dell Boomi or equivalent).
• Good understanding of GDPR and secure handling of sensitive HR data.
• Clear, confident communicator able to collaborate with both technical teams and HR stakeholders.
