We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant for our client to provide technical advice, guidance, and support across a range of projects. This role involves working closely with clients to assess security risks, develop robust controls, and deliver formal documentation such as security policies, risk assessments, and assurance plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise organisations on all aspects of cyber security.
- Produce deliverables including policies, procedures, and audits.
- Assess and articulate business and technical security risks.
- Review and improve existing security controls.
- Support business development through client relationship management.
Requirements:
- Industry-recognised certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
- Proven experience in a cyber security role.
- Strong knowledge of standards and best practices.
- Understanding of Governance, Risk & Compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with government and defence cyber security policies.
- Experience with Secure by Design principles.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and NCSC CAF.
- Previous involvement in audits, penetration testing, and supplier assurance.
Additional Requirements:
- Eligible for UK security clearance (SC/DV).
