You will join a talented team of dynamic and driven professional problem solvers, creative thinkers, and solutions builders who thrive on helping clients meet the most exciting digital transformation challenges. Informed Solutions, the winner of two Queen's Awards for Innovation, delivers products and services for large-scale digital transformation using data and AI. Our digital, data and technology solutions are used by a growing number of organisations working in national, regional, and private sector healthcare settings.

As Business Development Manager, you will have a key role in building trusted relationships and developing business with new clients in the healthcare sector. Your responsibilities include:

  • Play a role in securing enterprise-level sales within the healthcare sector at national and regional levels within public and private sector settings.
  • Lead business development efforts of the wider healthcare team, including leading on bid and proposition development.
  • In partnership with the Healthcare Sector Lead, direct and manage prospecting and new business activity through the end-to-end business development cycle from prospecting to proposal delivery.
  • Collaborate with Health Sector Leads in identifying 'good' business (profitable, relevant, good for our business, and good for our people).
  • Ensure a collaborative and respectful approach for team working on all business development activity through the sales cycle.
  • Build strategic partnerships and alliances from across our marketplace to ensure we offer the most attractive mix of capability and capacity to our prospective clients.
  • Help to continually evolve our healthcare value propositions for both transformation services and our product lines.
  • Build strong, lasting client relationships based on trust, including negotiating and building rapport with senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain competitiveness, continually improving our market offering, and evolving our business development operating model.

Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively in environments where you can adapt to innovative practices involving uncertainty, change, and agile working.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and your time so you can deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to respect and accept different perspectives and disagreement, work collaboratively in diverse teams, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Good judgement and decision-making in complex environments where uncertainty, ambiguity, and risk must be collaboratively managed by working supportively alongside others.
  • Good communication skills, including clear, constructive written outputs and measured, respectful verbal delivery.

Location:

There is flexibility to be based out of our London or Manchester offices; however, given the nature of the role, you will need to travel to co-locate with colleagues and clients across the UK, developing strategic relationships through the appropriate combination of face-to-face and digital engagement.

Benefits:
