Our growing business is looking to hire an experienced and outcomes-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People Services team based in Altrincham. You’ll play a key role in identifying and attracting top talent in the Tech sector to support our company’s growth across the UK.
Role Responsibilities
- Pro-actively headhunt experienced talent across a range of technical roles including Software Engineering, User Centred Design, Delivery Management etc. using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and our applicant tracking system.
- Provide support in all aspects of the recruitment life cycle with a strong focus on experienced hires, from advertising vacancies and reviewing applications to guiding candidates through selection and offer stages, whilst also supporting graduate cycles as required.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand demand quickly, design search strategies and deliver high-quality shortlists at pace.
- Conduct in-depth screening calls with candidates to evaluate qualifications, aspirations and cultural fit.
- Ensure smooth running of key processes, including candidate tracking & management, interview scheduling, liaising with Recruitment Agency partners, maintaining our Applicant Tracking System and providing candidate feedback.
- Partner with the Recruitment Manager and Talent Acquisition Advisor to develop search strategies, marketing plans, events and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the People Services (HR) team to ensure an exceptional candidate experience.
Requirements
- Extensive experience and knowledge of Technology/Digital/IT services recruitment, with proven ability to identify and attract top talent.
- Proven experience and successful track record in the full life cycle of recruitment; in‑house experience is highly desirable.
- Proficient at using LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards to identify high‑quality candidates proactively.
- Experience using and maintaining an Applicant Tracking System (Workable would be an advantage).
- Ability to build a strong rapport with candidates and colleagues across all levels of the organisation.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to challenge and influence positively at all levels.
- Organised, resilient and comfortable balancing high role volume and shifting priorities without compromising on quality.
