The purpose of your role will be to test newly developed systems and upgrades to existing systems as part of a team of ten. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include requirement analysis; test plan development; case and detailed stepped test script development; documentation; reporting on testing success; supporting the testing of problem fixes; user acceptance testing; regression testing; performance testing; operational assurance testing; project planning; quality assurance; supporting the development, management and execution of test strategies; and working with internal stakeholders and third party suppliers. You will be taking information from design documents and producing detailed stepped test scripts for the wider team to follow.
Essential
- Previous commercial experience as a Systems Tester to include UAT, Regression, Performance, Integration, and Operation Assurance Testing.
- Experience of working with Housing Management Systems such as NEC Housing, Aareon QL/Homemaster/ActiveH, Civica Cx, MRI Enterprise/OneHousing/OpenHousing, Rubixx, or similar).
- Qualified to ISTQB/ISEB Foundation level.
- Flexibility and ability to learn new systems.

- Any further relevant certification (PRINCE2, ITIL, ISTQB, Oracle, Microsoft)
As an individual you will be detail orientated and have the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload. You will have strong written and oral communication abilities and be comfortable speaking directly to business subject matter experts to understand how the business will use the system to write high-quality functional test scripts. This role will be hybrid, predominantly based at home with a couple days a month in an office in London.
