The role will involve advising my client on best practice, gathering requirements, analysing data, developing new reports, amending existing reports, and implementing new applications and solutions.
Must Have
- Experience working in a BI/Reports Development capacity with recognised industry solutions such as SSRS, PowerBI, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Cognos, Oracle Reports, Actuate, BI-Query, Informaker, etc.
- Experience developing reports for Social Housing Management Systems (Such as NEC Housing, MRI Enterprise/Orchard Housing, Aareon QL/Homemaster/MIS ActiveH, Civica Cx Housing, MRI Housing One/OPENHousing, Rubixx, etc.)
- Wider appreciation of Business Intelligence tools for dashboarding and insight (Such as Tableau, Qlik SiSense, Watson/Cognos Analytics, SSAS, SSIS, OBIEE, Data Studio, Capita Insight, QuickSight, JasperSoft, Einsteen Analytics, Birst, SAS, and/or CorVu, etc)
- SQL Scripting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Nice to Have
- Specific experience migrating Business Objects Reports to Power BI reports and dashboards
- DBA Skills in SQL Server &/or Oracle
- Data migration and/or ETL process
