The objective of the role will be to manage the operational and strategic procurement services for a consortium delivering to the public sector and social housing sector.
Your responsibilities will include and overall delivery of compliant procurement which will include framework agreements, long term contracts, call off agreements, digital purchasing systems and public procurements; procurement and sourcing support; procurement specific supply chain management; providing internal procurement advice; acting as a key conduit between the executive and procurement teams; developing procurement strategy and metrics; ensuring that you are abreast of all public sector procurement developments and legislation; leading all new framework procurements; supporting projects; and staff management.
