Responsibilities

  • Participate as Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) in CRC related exercises, tests, experimentation, table top and staff level events contributing to the sustainment and modernization of the CRC and associated infrastructure.

Review and coordinate relevant Test and Eval Master Plans (TEMP).

Coordinate with branch leadership to recommend A3C’s position.

  • Advise leadership and recommend options to manage and improve CRC processes, procedures, and doctrine; manning levels; efficiency and effectiveness; equipment capabilities; training requirements.
  • Attend and actively participate in experimentation and development events providing CRC expertise. Coordinate with branch leadership to recommend A3C’s position.
  • Directly assist leadership in the assessment and facilitation of CRC weapon system applications, capabilities, and operational concepts to include CRC CONOPs, CONEMPs, conceptual operational plans, and CRC process execution; conduct warfighter shops to identify and document modifications to current and advance TTPs.
  • Advise leadership during formal test execution (Developmental Test and Operational Test), including participation in test agency-led Developmental Test Review Boards (DTRB) and SPO-led Disposition Review Boards.

Research operational impacts of deficiencies discovered during test to identify possible workarounds and advise on fielding decisions.

  • Solicit inputs from CRC units and MAJCOMs on impacts of deficiencies discovered during testing or operations for consolidation into a recommended Lead Command position on fielding training systems and system upgrades.
  • Review CRC inspection programs and ensure proper scheduling, tracking and management.

Liaise with Inspector General (IG) and other related agencies and ensure relevant checklists are current and maintained.

  • Liaise with system program offices, MAJCOM counterparts, other agencies on staff, and other CRCs to remain current on CRC weapon system capabilities, developments and initiatives; advise branch leadership on policies and positions.

  • OR
  • Experience as Aerospace Control and Warning Systems Operator (AF AFSC 1C5)

  • Experience with CRC weapons system capabilities, operations, , sustainment, and organizational structure
  • 3 Years
  • Experience with USAF testing procedures, planning, execution, and reporting; working test and evaluation policies and instructions; implementing Technical Order 00-35D-54, USAF Deficiency Reporting, Investigation and Resolution
