This role supports the Tax Global Process Owner within the Business Process Excellence team, leading process design and change delivery in the Global Business Services Organisation. The candidate will work closely with SSC Tax, Workstream Lead, M&A, and TS&S teams to manage projects such as global E-Invoicing, tax automation solutions, and legislative changes.
Responsibilities include managing requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and process support for tax-related initiatives. The role requires collaboration with global stakeholders and occasional presence in London or Colchester offices three days a week.
Key Responsibilities- Support tax projects including E-Invoicing, automation, and legislative updates.
- Participate in initiatives impacting tax processes, including acquisitions and disposals.
- Ensure successful implementation of global tax processes and evaluate performance for necessary adjustments.
- Maintain and prioritize Tax Roadmap items in collaboration with the Tax GPO.
- Work with stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure compliance and process efficiency.
- Manage Tax Standard Control Procedures (SCPs) and training materials, updating them as needed.
- Proven project management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Mindset focused on continuous improvement and change impact awareness.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure.
- Tax and/or Accounting qualification preferred (e.g., CTA, ATT, ACCA, CIMA).
- Knowledge of project and change management best practices.
- Deep understanding of tax mechanics and global process flows.
- Experience with tax automation solutions and ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
