Role Overview

Are you an exceptionally skilled, driven editor looking for your next challenge? The Content & Publishing Operations team within Omdia Operations needs you to support our Penang‑based content production team. This role is perfect if you pride yourself on being highly organised, excel at communication, and thrive working behind the scenes to keep projects moving. You will assist with content allocation, drive strategic initiatives, and support day‑to‑day operations to ensure content meets our rigorous quality standards and deadlines. Your top‑tier English‑language writing and editing skills will be put to excellent use every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Copyedit and proofread Word‑based reports, PowerPoint documents, Excel spreadsheets, and data tools to ensure content is consistent, accurate, in line with house style, and accessible to a global client base.
  • Support the creation and repurposing of selected research content.
  • Take content through the CMS‑based publishing workflow, from the editorial queue to publication.
  • Support successful, on‑time delivery of research projects across sectors, including consulting engagements.
  • Train and support analysts and other colleagues on writing skills, editorial processes, workflows, style guides, and content management systems.
  • Own strategic initiatives and special projects, from planning and scheduling through delivery.
  • Work closely with research and data colleagues from across the business to ensure content is delivered on time and to high quality.
  • Create, standardise, and support business workflow documentation and process maps.
  • Act as deputy to manager when needed, engaging with freelancers for content allocation and review.
  • Support Content Production Manager in content allocation and in the continuing evolution and refinement of related business/operational processes to optimise quality, timeliness, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness of research execution and delivery.
  • Continuous measurement of KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Top‑tier English‑language writing and editing skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, content management systems, and publishing tools.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with proven track record of managing tasks to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
