Overview
The Senior TM1 Lead is responsible for supporting T&F applications, TM1 and Alteryx applications. The developer needs to meet all agreed upon service levels for all TM1 applications within their remit. This includes supporting day-to-day operations, as well as medium and long-term development in support of business needs and strategy. This is a 12-month secondment role. We require candidates to be able to work in a balanced model with in-person collaboration three days per week or more, from either Milton Park or London Blackfriars offices, with flexibility to work from home or remotely when not in the office.
Responsibilities
- Supporting technical development initiatives including tracking cash flows, revenue growth strategies, investment opportunities, etc.
- Understanding initiatives and how they feed into forecasting, budgeting and planning activities
- Challenge current processes and ways of working, striving for an optimal level of output that delivers on requirements in a timely fashion
- Engage with key stakeholders and relay information in an understandable way, providing commercial insights
- Triaging systems issues and ensuring end user engagement in the tools used to report and manage the business
- Run daily development scrum calls for the TM1 pillar
- Quality Assurance on completed TM1 work and guide where needed
- Participate in project prioritisation meetings and conflict resolution workshops with Finance Directors
- Coach team from a career progression perspective
- Represent Finance alongside Director of Finance Systems in T&F Platforms Architecture calls with TSS Architecture teams
- Full ownership of the TM1 toolsets for T&F Finance including system upgrades and configuration
- Maintain relationship management with IBM
Qualifications
- BS Degree or equivalent professional qualifications
- Good knowledge of information systems concepts and practice across the full systems development lifecycle
- Rational and organized approach to tasks with a focus on quality
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications as the basis for application builds
- Familiarity with Alteryx and Power BI is ideal; full training will be provided
