Job Description
The Sales Operations Executive supports a business unit sales team, who are selling across different regions, multiple brands (products/events), and customers.
Sales Operations is a pivotal function within the business, providing structured sales administration, Salesforce (CRM) support, data analysis, reporting, and information entry support to Sales teams.
The Sales Operations Executive will report to the Head of Sales Operations. They will have knowledge and understanding of the Sales systems such as Salesforce and provide support in the set-up and management of Sales Pipelines within Salesforce and other CRM systems.
Furthermore, the role will assist in the management of data quality, accuracy, and consistency for the business unit, whilst also being on hand to support specific business unit reporting or analysis requirements.
Whilst they will support business unit sales teams, they will also be on hand to support Exhibitor Marketing, Event Ops, and Customer Service teams, with data list pull requests and reporting needs as well as supporting the event teams onsite at events both in the UK and internationally.
Qualifications
CRM management
- Manage and update Salesforce (CRM) and associated Sales order processing toolswith sales contracts.
- Providing the forms (text) for sales, stand upsells, promo opportunities, catalogues, and contract creation.
- Serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME) on Salesforce business process for sales teams.
- Supports the product setup (events, sponsorship, digital, and print).
Sales and Marketing support
- Assist with administrative activities in support of forecasting, and preparing presentations for budget and strategy meetings.
- Support the sales team in preparation for pitching and proposals where applicable.
- Processing, checking and providing structured controls for the sale of exhibitor contracts.

- Experience in working with Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Previous experience in the B2B / B2C events industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications in particular Excel.
