Principal Analyst – Cloud and Data Center Research Practice

About the Role

We\’re looking for a Principal Analyst to join our Cloud and Data Center Research Practice. You\’ll dive deep into the global market for data center tech – from servers and storage to processors and Ethernet adapters.

Your work will shape the industry through:

  • Market trackers and reports
  • Custom research projects
  • Survey analysis
  • White papers
  • Webinars

You\’ll collaborate with a dynamic team spread across Europe, Asia, and North America, bringing your expertise to a truly global stage.

What You\’ll Do

  • Create high-quality market analysis from scratch, covering size, share, and forecasts
  • Produce thought-leading research on hot topics like tech shifts and M&As
  • Analyze survey data to uncover trends, drivers, and strategies
  • Build credible market projections using primary and secondary research
  • Develop strong relationships across the tech ecosystem
  • Present at conferences and share key findings with customers
  • Engage with trade press and build your media presence
    • Drive business growth through client interactions and social media engagement

Qualifications

What We\’re Looking For

  • Significant experience as an industry analyst, preferably in cloud and data center tech
  • A track record of producing third-party research assets
  • Practical engineering experience (big plus!)
  • Strong existing network in the tech industry, especially with IT OEMs and semiconductor companies
  • Bachelor\’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred)
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, global environment
