Join Our Dynamic Events Team
We are looking for an ambitious Sales Executive to drive growth in our maritime events and conference division. This is your opportunity to build meaningful relationships with industry leaders while developing your sales expertise in a thriving sector.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Revenue Growth
- Sell delegate places and Gala dinner packages using a consultative approach that puts client needs first
- Progress to exhibition stands and sponsorship opportunities as you develop in the role
- Manage and expand your client portfolio across our maritime events
- Build Strong Client Relationships
- Conduct confident sales conversations via telephone, video calls, and face-to-face meetings at industry events
- Identify client needs and recommend tailored solutions from our comprehensive portfolio
- Develop new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts
- Deliver Results
- Source and close new business opportunities independently
- Meet weekly activity targets and sales KPIs
- Maintain accurate pipeline records in Salesforce and CRM systems
- Cross-sell and up-sell to maximize customer account value
- Support Strategic Growth
- Assess competitive landscape and provide insights for future strategies
- Contribute to market analysis identifying opportunities for brand expansion and new revenue streams
- Participate in on-site re-booking and post-show retention activities
- Collaborate with event development teams throughout the sales cycle
- Support events as part of the on-site team
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting targets
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Confidence in telephone and face-to-face selling
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
