This role is based in our 240, London Blackfriars office. The Event Executive reports to the Event Manager. As part of the Event Management team, their overarching role is to support the delivery of events and event‑related features and products, for the Seatrade Maritime and IMHX brands.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Support the development of the Seatrade Maritime and IMHX brand
- Help design the overall event experience, ensuring a high level of delivery in support of the event’s strategy and customer needs
- Support the Event Manager with delivery of event‑related features and products
- Continue to develop and improve the customer experience at each event
- Maintain relationships with key local stakeholders and partners
- Liaise with the Sales, Marketing, Content and Operations teams to ensure all elements of the event are in alignment to create successful events
- Take part in regular updates with teams working on the event to ensure they are aware of common queries, issues or comments
- Assist with administrative activities including scheduling meetings, preparing reports and presentations
- Assistance with post‑event reporting and analysis
- Assistance on updating sections of the Event P&L’s
- Develop an understanding of the maritime market
- In coordination with content team, liaise with speakers to ensure onboarding information is supplied and relevant information is gathered. This includes onsite speaker and conference production support.
- In coordination with sales and event management teams, liaise with sponsors to coordinate their deliverables.
- Work closely with digital delivery team to ensure the correct information is provided and/or uploaded to the event app.
- Support the project management of in‑house/partner events and conferences which are held in 240 Blackfriars office.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Employ the highest standards of practice to deliver optimum results at all times.
- Comply with Informa’s Sustainability Policy, and actively contribute to Informa’s commitment to sustainability.
- 1 year of experience in events, exhibition or conferences preferred
- Excellent written and spoken English with proven skills in written communication
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to multi‑task across time‑sensitive projects
- Confident team player with a creative and innovative approach
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
