As part of a three-person design team, you’ll work on projects alongside more senior designers, product managers, engineers and stakeholders. You’ll contribute to exploring problems, translating business and user needs into thoughtful and usable designs, and guiding work through development to release. - Flexible problem-solving. Adapt your design approach depending on the brief. Be comfortable working on well-defined tasks, while developing confidence exploring more complex or less clearly defined problems. Ask thoughtful questions to help uncover the underlying problem.
- User-centred design. Assist with user research and usability testing where appropriate, such as reviewing existing experiences, helping to synthesise findings, and applying learnings to design improvements with support from the team.
- Ownership and collaboration. Take ownership of smaller projects or features, while working closely with senior designers, product managers, product owners and engineers to ensure solutions are practical and aligned.
- Communicating findings and recommendations. Share your design thinking clearly, contributing to presentations and rationale for stakeholders and the wider team.
