This role is based in our office name 240 Blackfriars office. The role is responsible for leading the planning and execution of innovative content marketing campaigns (i.e., email, social, paid) for a portfolio of events and digital media products. You will be a key player in the creation of the strategic plan for the portfolio as a whole, delivering on marketing objectives (i.e., traffic, impressions, attendance). Your role will work closely with the event operations and other content teams to ensure plans at all levels are integrated and delivered to the highest standard, on time, and within budget.

Job Responsibilities

  • Campaign Planning (25%): Own the development and end-to-end execution of year-round marketing strategies aligned to the overall business goals and objectives, as well as market-segment specific goals and objectives. Prepare and present campaign plans, schedules, timelines. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plan and ensure adherence to deadlines. Own the ideation, execution, and management of integrated marketing, communications, and demand generation/lead generation campaigns through digital advertising, paid media and media partnerships, email, social media, and other tactics. Own the design and production of all marketing collateral determined within the marketing plan. Adapt key marketing messaging and communication of value proposition(s) and own the development of supporting copy, calls to action, and customer journey for marketing and sales campaigns, based on target customer segments, campaign goals, and desired results. Lead and own the marketing efforts required to execute and grow the sales efforts for our business. Ensure consistent use of established branding, core value proposition messaging, imagery, and positioning across internal and external marketing materials, graphics, communications, and more; Cross-collaborate with peers in other lines of business to achieve consistent brand messaging where appropriate.
  • Marketing Promotions Execution (50%): Identify key target audience, manage and segmenting data, identifying gaps, and identifying a data acquisition strategy to support the strategic 1-3 year goals of the portfolio. Execute promotions with the assigned portfolio audience including: Coordinating the design and production of all marketing collateral relating to your brand, events, and products, including web banners/emails, etc. Creating high-performing copy for product promotions. Ensure appropriate online and offline channels are selected to promote the portfolio brand and individual products. Creation and updating of portfolio and event websites with proposition and latest information. Working with key associations and media partners to secure external promotions for events to broaden reach and exposure of events, digital products, and the portfolio brand as a whole. Generating leads for the delegate sales teams. Work closely with the content marketing team to ensure campaign and content plans are integrated and timelines are adhered to.
  • Analytics, Insight, and Reporting (20%): Provide your manager with weekly reports for ongoing events and campaign effectiveness, and make recommendations to drive continuous improvement, achieve revenue targets, and optimize budget spend. Conduct strategic analysis of a range of performance metrics across physical and digital products, audiences, and marketing channels/tactics to provide strategic insight on the potential future of the portfolio and products within it and improve the ROI of future campaigns. Present to management on portfolio performance across a range of products.
  • Other (5%): Attends conferences and training as required to support the delivery team. Supports delivery team with digital event delivery as required. Manage ad hoc projects, or communication for additional products outside the portfolio as required by the schedule. Performs other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or relevant experience.
  • Experience in progressively more complex B2B campaigns, managing campaigns independently or working as a peer in a senior marketing team.
  • Thorough understanding & experience of marketing function, planning, operations, and execution using marketing automation technology (preferably Eloqua), training and optimization.
  • Experience of working with CMS platforms (but coding knowledge not required), training and optimization.
  • Thorough understanding & experience of digital (PPC, SEO, online advertising) and content marketing.
  • Database development and growth including segmentation/personalization.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, goal-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Adapts to changing situations and requirements, manages multiple deadlines and activities simultaneously.
  • Out of the box thinking, willing to challenge norms and come up with fresh ideas and approaches on reaching audiences and engaging our customers.
  • Able to build strong business relationships.
  • Well-developed presentation skills.
  • Problem solver, balancing stakeholder needs while maintaining brand and business objectives. Identifies roadblocks, determines fixes, and works in a team environment to implement the solutions to get to the end goal.
