This role is based in our 5 Howick Place office. Join our dynamic team as a Product Manager for the LIONS portfolio, where you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on product development to deliver exceptional digital experiences for our global audience.
Your Role
As a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager, you'll work on our prestigious LIONS portfolio of subscription products. Your role combines strategic mindset with hands-on product research and development, working closely with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, translate business requirements, and ensure product solutions are backed by data, research, and deep understanding of user needs. Working closely with the Head of Product, LIONS Insight, you'll contribute to product strategy and help shape and deliver the future of digital product roadmaps and services. You'll need to be innovative, customer-focused, and have a growth mindset, balancing product intuition, creative problem solving, and data-driven decision making. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to evaluate product opportunities, determine what gets built and delivered to customers, and manage the UI/UX Team of designers to ensure total integration between user experience design and product design initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Product Ownership & Strategy
- Take ownership of features or product areas, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery of meaningful customer experiences.
- Define product strategy by collaborating with stakeholders to translate high-level business objectives into clear product/module strategies that drive growth and retention.
- Support the complete portfolio of subscription products through strategic planning and execution.
- Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Provide product lifecycle support and maintenance, including refining product backlog, managing routine stakeholder requests, triaging and prioritising bugs, and supporting sprint ceremonies.
- Utilise outcome-driven product development methodologies like Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Jobs to be Done (JTBD) to ensure data-driven decisions focused on measurable business impact.
- Lead user testing and research initiatives, including A/B testing and customer research, to validate hypotheses and enhance user experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, UX/UI design, marketing, data science, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality products that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of product vision, priorities, and expected outcomes.
- Manage and collaborate with the UI/UX Team to ensure seamless integration between user experience and product design.
Qualifications
Proven experience in product management and/or delivery within information services, SaaS, B2B, or B2C environments. Customer-centric mindset with hands-on experience in user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to validate and refine product decisions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
